It’s been a long time since tower madness came out. It was released way back in 2009

With the release of Tower Madness 2, we see a lot of the same thing. It’s a good android tower defense game. However, it doesn’t do much that we haven’t already seen before in a lot of other games.

a. It’s a 3-D open-ended tower defense game.

b. It was one of the first big games for android tower defense.

In the original, the plot revolves around an alien invasion. The aliens are only interested in one thing. Your sheep. That’s right, there after the sheep that’s on your land. And what do you use to defend sheep? Towers of course! The towers follow the three basic categories; energy, fire, lightning. The aliens, creeps, follow the traditional low middle high style of difficulty. There’s a combination of static paths and open paths, so in some levels you can change the path of the enemies follow. The core mechanics are sound.

Tower madness 2 does not have in game currency. It does however incorporate IAP with full tower unlocks. So if you have a favorite tower you can instantly unlock all the levels of the tower. And you can earn currency not by buying it, but by watching in game ad videos. There doesn’t seem to be any limit to the number of ads that you can watch in order to earn currency.

Tower madness to really does expand on basically everything that was in the original game. Their new towers for each different category of the three turrets. There are more defense is that you can put up. The upgrade system is fueled by the new in game currency. This lot more variety of the maps which is nice as well.

The new maps really focus on tower placement and strategy.

This is lot less emphasis on building. The visual quality is much better- the graphics have been increased significantly. That’s not hard to imagine, considering that the old one is already almost 10 years old. The replay system is also nice that you can replay levels. All of these additions are pretty standard.

The game has four different regions. Each different region has environmental aspects that change the gameplay a little bit. The desert will make towers overheat. When they overheat they have to pause for a few seconds in order to recover. That’s one example, and they don’t really change gameplay that much but they can be interesting when added to the overall system.

The difficulty level on this android tower defense game is definitely a lot lower.

I think they were concentrating more on numbers of game modes in order to satisfy people that wanted more of a challenge. The main campaign is way too easy. There’s an ability to push any waves faster to challenge yourself more in the campaign. That’s pretty cool, and it thusly has an effect on the leader boards.

Tower Madness 2 is another great game by the same developer of the first. There are a lot of good tower defense games out there. This one doesn’t really innovate that much, but it is a strong game. If you love tower defense you want to check this out, even if you might’ve already seen it all before, you’ll love this tower defense game.
