You’ll be spoilt for choice by the number of mobile games that’s available for both Android and iOS platforms today.

In fact, most gamers would go from one game to another just to see which game will suit their preference best. But every gamer will always come back to one favorite, and for me, it’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Released in 2016 by Moonton as a mobile multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, became an instant hit among gamers. With that, it was chosen as the first medal event e-sport competition for the 2019 Southeast Asian Games held in the Philippines.

Today, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has more than 75 million active players, making it one of the most popular mobile games in the world.

But what really makes this game so addictive?

Anyone who likes player vs. player gaming will love the format of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. It’s a game where you can choose your character from a wide array of choices—mages, fighters, assassins, tanks, marksmen and support—to fit your preference.

The primary goal of the game is to team up and destroy your opponent’s base before they destroy yours. Sounds easy, right? But it’s not that simple and that’s what makes it more exciting and challenging.

The 5v5 MOBA game offers different modes: Classic, Rank, Brawl and AI. It even has practice mode for beginners, so you can get a feel of what the game is like.

For me, the highlight of the game is the rank mode, which motivates players to level up their skills because if you win, you’ll be rewarded with a star that will help you rank up. But if you lose, you’ll also lose a star, which means that you’ll need to stay on the same rank until your next win.

One of the biggest advantages of this format is that it doesn’t only teach you to work hard to keep winning, but it also teaches you about good teamwork.

I also like the fact that you get to play with your friends and delegate a role for each team member to achieve your goal of winning. In my experience, it’s easier to win if you have a line up that consists of a tank, mage or support, assassin, fighter and marksman.

But if you’re just starting out and you don’t have friends to play with, you can log in as a solo player and the system automatically teams you up with other players, which is an opportunity to meet new friends.

If there are any disadvantages to playing Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, it would probably be the fact that it can get to your nerves sometimes, especially if the game becomes too intense.

But that’s why you have a chat box where you can communicate with other players to keep your cool. The game also requires stable Internet connection, so you might not enjoy it as much if you’re on the go. Some third party apps can also allow for hacks, which defeats the purpose of the game.

At the end of the day, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is a great way to bring out your competitive nature and just have good fun with your family and friends.
